   बेल का पौधा/पत्थर सेब/बिल्वा ऐतिहासिक अभिलेखों के अनुसार, 5000 ईसा पूर्व से बेल का उपयोग औषधीय और खाद्य पदार्थ के रूप में किया जाता है और यह प्रसिद्ध संस्कृत महाकाव्य-कविता रामायण लिखते समय भी मनुष्य के लिए जाना जाता है।  बेल ने प्रसिद्ध पुस्तक चरक संहिता में उल्लेख किया है, जो सभी आवश्यक आयुर्वेदिक सूचनाओं का एक व्यापक संकलन है, जिसने आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा में एक आवश्यक वस्तु के रूप में बेल की पहचान की है।  पेड़ सुगंधित है, और सभी भाग औषधीय रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हैं।  आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा पद्धति में विभिन्न रोगों के इलाज के लिए फल, पत्ते, छाल, जड़ और बीज का उपयोग किया जाता है।  वैदिक काल से भारतीय साहित्य में इसका व्यापक रूप से वर्णन किया गया है।  यह दशमूल जड़ी-बूटियों (दस जड़ों का समूह) में से एक है। बेल को सबसे पवित्र या पवित्र पौधा माना जाता है जिसे हिंदू मंदिरों के किनारे उगाया जाता है।  यह पौधा भगवान शिव को समर्पित है और यह भी माना जाता है कि बेल के पेड़ के नीचे भगवान शिव निवास करते हैं।  इसके अलावा, पौधे एक महान औषधीय मूल्य से जुड़ा हुआ है जिसका औषधीय वर्णन वेदों, पुराणों, चरक संह

 Bael plant/Stone apple/Bilva According to the historical records, bael is used as a medicinal and food item since 5000 B.C. and known to human beings even when writing the famous Sanskrit epic-poem Ramayana. Bael mentioned in the renowned book Charaka Samhita, a comprehensive compilation of all the essential ayurvedic information, which identified bael as a necessary item in ayurvedic medicine. The tree is aromatic, and all the parts are medicinally important. Fruits, leaves, bark, roots, and seeds are used in ayurvedic medicine systems to treat various ailments. It is extensively described in Indian literature, since Vedic period. It is one among the Dashamoola herbs (Group of ten roots). Bael is considered as the most sacred or holy plant which is grown by the sides of Hindu temples. This plant is dedicated to Lord Shiva andis also believed that Lord Shiva resides under the Bael tree. Besides this, the plant is associated with a great medicinal value whose medicinal descriptionis
